David Herron
He is an internationally renowned consultant and speaker, expert in software measurement and quality. He acquired more than 25 years of experience in the software development area. Mr. Herron has been a senior consultant and Vice President of SPR (Software Productivity Research). He worked as a consultant for more than 500 important American companies on the quality programs implementation and evaluation. He successfully implemented quality programs to support TQM initiatives. His researches gave rise to techniques which are accepted by the industry. He is a member of the American Society of Quality Control. David is a Partner, with David Garmus, in the David Consulting Group. Their recent books "Function Point Analysis: Measurement Practices for Successful Software Projects" and "Measuring The Software Process: A Practical Guide To Functional Measurements" provide extensive details on the Function Point Counting methodology.
